  • Software Engineer, Manchester


    Our software engineers are developing a cloud platform (Java, Spring, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes) that uses machine learning and AI to coordinate electrical devices that households and businesses already own to match demand for energy with available supply. They are really, really bright people who care.

    If you are a Software Engineer who loves working with cool tech to solve very real, very complex challenges then you should join us in our mission to transform the energy system. You’ll make it much easier to integrate renewable generation onto the grid.

    Requirements:
    - 3+ years playing with Java & Spring (development and testing)
    - Familiarity with container technologies
    - Experience of working in an agile environment
    - Love learning new things and can learn quickly

    - Proven experience in Java development and testing frameworks
    - Extensive application of the SCRUM methodology and TDD
    - Appreciation of Big Data technologies such as MongoDB,VoltDB,Hadoop
    - Experience developing, securing or operating cloud scale applications

  • Senior Front-End Developer, Manchester


    Requirements:
    - Extensive experience in UI development and all things Javascript
    - Strong feelings for good architecture, modular, reusable and quality driven coding practives
    - Experience in a highly agile development environment
    - Capable of contributing to technical discussions around new developments and an ability to recommend implementations.

  • Commercial Analyst, London or Manchester


    As we grow, we have a need for ongoing critical financial and physical modeling, all of which will have a direct impact on the commercial projects and revenue strategies of the company.

    Ideally, you'll have experience in an analyst type role that required extensive modelling in Python, and Bachelor’s / Masters degree in finance, engineering or renewables.
