We had a busy few months at Upside Energy so we’ve compiled a round up of some of our recent press coverage.
Upside features in April’s issue of Network Magazine. We have been identified as one of the five UK energy storage players you should know about (see UK Storage Players, page 20 & 21)
On the 21st April we announced that we had secured £545,000 in seed funding to expand operations, build out our senior management team and run a large-scale pilot with National Grid. We exceeded our target of £500,000 from ClearlySo’s extensive network of high-net-worth angel investors, along with support from industry leaders such as Ian Marchant, former CEO SSE, and Chris Joly from Vitol.
Following the announcement there was extensive coverage from Utility Week, Scottish Energy News and the Energyst through to PR Web and Social Stock Exchange. Here’s a round up of some of these articles.
